Hello! My name is Troy.

My career path was a very interesting one as throughout my time in high school, my aim was to go in to engineering and potentially architecture. I have always been an analytical thinker which works out well when it comes to breaking down movement and how to rehab it.

What started out as a keen interest in weightlifting for sports quickly turned in to a deep interest in movement, biomechanics, physiology, anatomy and health. Though I did not know it at the time, this is what changed the course of my life.

I went on to attend the Douglas College Sport Science program (SPSC) as I made my transition to UBC. I then completed my degree in Kinesiology at UBC (BKin). I am currently a student of Physical Therapy at UBC (MPT)

I have always had an intense passion for movement and strength training, but the ability to decrease pain and how to apply that movement is what I find truly interesting.

I attended Douglas College from which I completed my sport science diploma, transitioned to UBC to complete my degree in Kinesiology.

I have developed an intense passion for helping people reduce their movement related pain and movement dysfunction by focusing on the body as a whole, and how habits, behaviours and injuries can change how the body and brain behaves concerning movement and movement patterns.

This in conjunction with other modalities, gives me a unique perspective on movement that I believe can be the key to your next steps of pain rehab!

Outside of work, I enjoy weight/athletic training, finding good food and travelling the world.

Lets get started together!
